Sweet Dreams
My song of choice this week is Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics. I watched the MV of this song in class, and I have to say, this song gave me a feeling of deja vu. Later, I recalled carefully, that this song is the appearance song of Quicksilver in Avengers 2. He is a supervillain and superhero who appeared in Marvel comics, and the atmosphere of the song is described as awesome. Believe in yourself even when others get in your way. I'd also like to talk about Eurythmics, a British pop duo consisting of members Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart, this is a cool combination, which can only be seen from the mv of this song. The song is exciting and rhythmic, and the repeated parts are memorable and one of the reasons why it is recited. Say, I love this song!
It's cool that this song was in a Marvel movie! I definitely didn't know that when we listened to this song in class. Looking at the lyrics you wrote about, the song seems to have a way of being realistic by acknowledging the bad, but still holds an optimistic belief that things will get better.
